Guests stand for the national anthem during the 673d Mission Support Group change of command ceremony at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, July 13, 2020 as U.S. Air Force Col. John Caranta relinquishes command of the group to U.S. Air Force Col. Jason Delamater. The 673d MSG is composed of four squadrons — the 673d Communications Squadron, the 673d Security Forces Squadron, the 673d Contracting Squadron and the 673d Force Support Squadron — providing support to the 673d Air Base Wing and 55 associate and tenant units assigned to JBER. The ceremony was adapted to follow COVID-19 health and safety measures.
