On July 16, 2020, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Riley hosted a change of command ceremony between Col. Stephen Shrader and Col. William B. McKannay.
The final movement of the ceremony is when the garrison colors are posted to show that the garrison commander is present.
From left to right are Col. Stephen Shrader, outgoing commander; Col. William Mckannay, the new garrison commander and Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy Speichert, the top NCO for the garrison.
