    A soldier assigned to 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), 25th Infantry Division provides security for his squad during Lightning Forge 20 (LF 20) on Kahuku Training Area, Hawaii, July 15, 2020. LF 20 is a home-station collective training event conducted to prepare the 2nd IBCT for future operations and develop combat readiness as an IBCT. LF 20 is a unified effort by the military and civilian agencies across Oahu in planning, coordination, execution, and will serve as a valuable training opportunity prior to a deployment to the Joint Readiness Training Center.
