Three OH-58 Kiowa helicopters stand ready to bid farewell to active service on July 9. The retiring helicopters were flown by eight 1st Bn, 5th Avn Reg, pilots in a “V” formation in the Fort Polk and Leesville airspace, making two figure eights during their flight.
