U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, assigned to Special Purpose Marine-Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, fly aboard a MV-22B Osprey during a Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP) exercise in Kuwait, July 13, 2020. A TRAP operation is designed to recover isolated personnel and equipment and avoid further loss. The TRAP training prepares Marines with the knowledge and skills to recover isolated sensitive material and personnel in the event of a downed aircraft.
