200710-N-FA444-1022 YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 10, 2020) - While standing messenger of the watch, Boatswain's Mate Seaman Tyler Pusok, from Fort Worth, Texas, salutes a Sailor as they cross the brow on the quarter deck of U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Watch standers play a vital role in maintaining the ship's security by ensuring only authorized personnel access the ship. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
