200627-N-KH151-0030 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 27, 2020) Sailors assigned to Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota, Spain’s, Port Operations Department along with Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ross (DDG 71) and USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) assist in the departure of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) for its homeport shift to Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida. Carney first arrived in Rota on Sept. 25, 2015 and was replaced with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) as one of four forward-deployed naval forces (FDNF) in Spain.
