A Norwegian solider radios instructions to U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force-Europe 20.2, Marine Forces Europe and Africa. While they conduct Hagglunds Bv206 familiarization training in Setermoen, Norway, June 20, 2020. It is important for Marines to learn the limits of their Norwegian counterpart’s vehicles to better prepare for real world operations. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, arctic cold-weather and mountain-warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhance overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
