FORT DRUM, N.Y. – Nikki Loehr (left) and Mary Paul (right), both nurses with the Bowe Army Medical Home COVID-positive treatment team and natives of Chicago, speak to a 10th Mountain Division (LI) Soldier before administering a COVID-19 nasal swab test on Fort Drum, N.Y. June 9. Since the start of the pandemic, the Bowe clinic all-volunteer healthcare team has been responsible for the treatment and care of all Soldiers, Family members and retirees who’ve tested positive for the virus. Additionally, the team now conducts drive-up COVID testing for deploying Soldiers as part of new pre-deployment requirements, ensuring Soldiers reach their deployment location ready to perform their mission.
