U.S. Army Oregon National Guard Soldiers with Kosovo Force Regional Command East Liaison Monitoring Team “Kilo 18” are invited to a liberation day ceremony June 12, 2020 in Donje Karačevo (Karaçevë e Poshtme), Kosovo. June 12 marks the 21st anniversary of the withdrawal of Serbian military forces from Kosovo through the efforts of the Kosovo Liberation Army and NATO. Village leaders Selver Lenjani and Fadi Kastrati showed their appreciation, via a certificate, for NATO, KFOR and Kilo 18 for the maintenance of a safe and secure environment for all people in Kosovo.
