Army Maj. Gen. William J. Walker, Commanding General, District of Columbia National Guard, welcomed Army Lt. Gen.Daniel R. Hokanson, Director, Army National Guard to the D.C. Armory. Gen. Hokanson met with and thanked the soldiers and airmen who are assisting civil authorities protect life and property while balancing the right to peacefully protest. Specifically The Gen. met with one of the DC Airmen that saved the life of a jogger with CPR in front of the Lincoln Memorial 04 June 2020. The D.C. National Guard is always ready and proud to support our community.
