Pararescue Airmen assigned to the 103rd Rescue Squadron of the New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing who assisted medical staff at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, N.Y. during the COVID-19 pandemic, pose for a photograph with members of the hospital staff. Fourteen of the pararescue Airmen, who are highly trained emergency medical technicians, asissted in managing ventilators used to save the lives of COVID 19 potients during a four week tour of duty at the hospital.
