This zebra-tail lizard is uniquely qualified to play hide-and-seek in the Mojave Desert, near Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., May 22. Their coloring blends in with the desert’s shades of browns, greys and greens, and they have an uncanny speed.
