U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Michel Natali, left, Dual Status Commander for the New York National Guard and active military response forces for the COVID-19 pandemic response efforts in New York City, renews the oath of service for newly promoted Maj. Alejandro Carrera, a member of the Washington State Air National Guard currently serving on active duty at NORTHCOM May 27 at the Freedom Tower in New York City. Carrera has been assigned to the Natali’s Dual Status Command-New York to help manage the flow of active military forces in and out of the region supporting the COVID-19 response efforts.
