Members of the New York National Guard supported civil authorities with food distribution operations to assist adversely impacted residents on April 20, 2020 at Veteran’s Park, Amsterdam N.Y. More than fifty service members assisted local officials during a drive thru food distribution event to help residents of Amsterdam that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.
The members are just a part of 3500 soldiers and airmen currently on duty as part of New York’s response to COVID-19.
