The Maryland National Guard Honor Guard pay respect to those who have faithfully defended our nation during Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens’ annual Memorial Day ceremony on May 19, 2020. A bugler and drummer from the Maryland National Guard 229th Army Band was on hand to perform “Taps” during the ceremony. In order to observe social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was recorded to share online on Memorial Day with others. Also participating in the ceremony: bagpiper Robert McCurdy, Mark Krause of the Maryland Patriot Guard Riders, retired airman Stephan Koester, and Skip Wingo of American Legion Post 174.
