The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) and USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) steam in formation during the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 11 change of command. Ralph Johnson and John Paul Jones are part of the CSG and underway during a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing its ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
