    USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19)

200515-N-FA444-2010 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 15, 2020) - Yeoman 2nd Class Ricardo Zaldana, from Westbury, New York, using the “big eyes” while standing watch on the bridge of U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) as Ship's Nautical or Otherwise Photographic Interpretation and Examination (SNOOPIE) Team lookout, observes as a ship of interest passes. A SNOOPIE Team gathers visual information and identifies unknown warships and other vessels at sea. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
