The last seventeen Tactical Air Control Party specialists returned home Sunday, May 3, 2020, to Pope Field, North Carolina after completing a deterrence mission in the U.S. Central Command area of operations. The Airmen of the 14th Air Support Operations Squadron were the last of 33 total TACPs to return home after the initial Immediate Response Force was ordered on New Year’s Eve.
