Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Mike M. Gilday prepares to fire a simulated M9 Beretta 9mm pistol at the USS Missouri Small Arms Marksmanship Trainer (SAMT) at Recruit Training Command (RTC). The acting secretary of the Navy, CNO and the master chief petty officer of the Navy visited RTC, the Navy's only boot camp, to observe operations during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
