Staff. Sgt. Justin Wattelet, Allied Trades, Combined Surface Maintenance Shops, Arizona Army National Guard, installs the thread from the bobbin as he prepares the industrial sewing machine he will be using to sew surgical masks that will be distributed to the Soldiers and Airmen of Task Force Guardian (TFG) Arizona at the Combined Surface Maintenance Shops (CSMS) on Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 10, 2020.

The push to produce enough surgical masks so that each member of TFG can have his/her own personal protection equipment was a cooperative effort between Soldiers and Airmen of the Arizona National Guard. The project concluded on April 29, with 1300 surgical masks being produced by the volunteers.
