    The U.S. Army Africa Headquarters Building on Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, is illuminated with the Italian and American flags May 3, 2020, as a sign of solidarity with Italy in combating the spread of the coronavirus. The ceremonial lighting marked the start of a transitional phase, announced by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on April 26, to slowly begin reopening the country May 4.
