Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, Rear Adm. John Okon, presided over the Naval Oceanographic Office's 76th change of command ceremony April 29, at which Capt. Ken Wallace relieved Capt. Ron Piret of command. At the ceremony, Okon presented Piret with the Legion of Merit medal for his outstanding leadership over the last two years in command the Naval Oceanographic Office. U.S. Navy photo released.
