The United States Coast Guard and the Australian Department of Home Affairs have signed a memorandum of agreement for a system of mutual officer exchange, April 27, 2020. The Coast Guard and Australia work closely throughout the Pacific on a number of different missions ranging from search and rescue to maritime law enforcement.
