U.S. Air Force Maj. Jeffrey Furnary, a C-130J pilot assigned to the ITAF’s Secondo Gruppo Volo, 46 Brigata Aerea (2nd Flight Group, 46th Air Brigade) in Pisa, Italy, has been a part of the Military Personnel Exchange Program since August 2019. Furnary’s primary duties as a C-130J exchange pilot include airlift and transportation missions. As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, Furnary has transported patients throughout Italy.
