RC-E Chaplain Lt. Col. Jacob Scott christens a tree and offers a devotion in honor of Earth Day April 22, 2020 at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Earth day was first coined by John McConnell and who successfully established the first governmentally-recognized observance on March 21, 1970 to foster unity and inspire appreciation for the planet. The chaplain corp are ready to build Army spiritual readiness by caring for Soldiers, their Families, and Army Civilians, across the full spectrum of conflict all over the world.
