U.S. NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 18, 2020) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Damian Sanchez, motor transport operator with Motor Transport Company, 3rd Transportation Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, drives a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) up the stern ramp of the Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312) during an operation to backload equipment originally relocated to offload an Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF). The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
