(April 17, 2020) Hull Technician 2nd Class Nicholas Bothos, a native of Trumbull, Conn., brazes a joint on a potable water pipe in the machine shop aboard Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), while Hull Technician 3rd Class Noah Cooper, a native of Petaluma, Calif., observes. Carl Vinson has completed the dry docked portion of its scheduled maintenance and will complete the rest of the availability floating pierside in Bremerton, Wash. at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
