Spc. Anthony Modrak, 237th Military Police Company, New Hampshire National Guard, fires an inert pistol at an electronic target in a training simulator at the NHNG Training Site in Center Strafford, April 14, 2020. Pistols recoil with each pull of the trigger, replicating live firing. The high-tech facility is a cost-effective alternative to using real ammunition, enabling Guardsmen to shoot more frequently and build marksmanship fundamentals. Fifty-five MPs trained with civilian law enforcement for five days via videoconference virtual classroom to prepare for potential COVID-19 missions. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
