Construction is underway for the alternate care facility at the Alaska Airlines Center on April 15 in Anchorage. To help the state with its fight against COVID-19, the Corps is executing a mission assignment from the Federal Emergency Management Agency that is focused on addressing a possible shortage of medical facilities in Alaska.
