Two members of XL Sew Strong, a group primarily of military spouses, have taken action and use their talents to sew face masks for the Airmen of Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. The materials are picked up in bags by members of the group, who then use DIY patterns to sew the masks. The materials are washed before pick-up and after being made into masks.
