Contractors assigned to a Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast Military Construction (MILCON) project at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB) in South Carolina wear masks when they cannot practice proper physical distancing as mandated by the Department of Defense (DoD). Here, the team works to install rebar for a slab placement at the pump room of the Truck Fill Stand Facility for the Consolidate Fuels project on board Shaw AFB. During the COVID-19 response, the mission must continue in support of the Warfighter while keeping personnel safe from possible exposure to the coronavirus. (U.S. Navy photo by Rett Fowler/released)
