NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 13, 2020) Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Nathan Carpenter, assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, records Sailors assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion (NCHB) 1 maneuvering a container onto the pier using a crane during an operation to offload equipment for an Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) from Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312) Apr. 13, 2020. The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
