Scaparrotti, the commanding general of I Corps, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., and retired Maj. Gen. James M. Collins, the civilian aide to the secretary of the Army for Washington, take a moment to socialize prior to the community connector meeting at the McChord Co-Located Club, JBLM, June 19 during the bi-annual community connector meeting. More than 40 local community leaders attended the meeting to exchange information with leaders at JBLM, which makes it possible for them to support one another at JBLM and within the surrounding communities.
