Florida National Guard’s Sgt. Arielle Tango, Army Medic and Maj. Jacqueline Zuluaga, commander of the 256th Medical Company Area Support (MCAS) are a part of a team military and civilian medical experts working together to help to create a safe and functional space to treat COVID-19 Patients.
Conversion of these facilities gives flexibility to medical providers and state emergency managers as they prepare for a COVID-19 based surge at local and regional medical facilities.
