With less than three months before his historic flight to the International Space Station in July 2019 on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo XI lunar landing, Morgan and European Space Agency astronaut Luca Parmitano trained for up to six hours at a time in the NBL’s pool to develop procedures, verify hardware compatibility, and train for extra vehicular activities.
