Lt. Duane Zitta completes the HURT 100 race in around 24 hours on Oahu in 2019 and was 8th overall. The race is an ultramarathon conducted on trails within the jurisdiction of the State of Hawai‘i Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Forestry and Wildlife, Nā Ala Hele program.
