Chief Yeoman Joshua Scanlon, assigned to Task Force Northeast, sets up a joint reception, staging, onward movement and integration station in the Javits New York Medical Station multi-agency command center. JNYMS, which has been operational and caring for non-COVID-19 patients since March 30, began providing medical care for patients with the virus April 3. Soldiers from the 44th Medical Brigade deployed from Ft. Bragg, N.C., Ft. Hood, Texas and Ft. Campbell, Ky. in support of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response.
