Fort Stewart Families gather at Murray Elementary School to receive free breakfast and lunch meals for the community’s children March 25, 2020 as a result of the recent coronavirus-triggered school closings at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The Fort Stewart Meal Program is providing free grab-and-go lunch and breakfast meals to children in the ages zero through 18 years old for as long as the coronavirus-induced school closures continue. The meals are being handed out at four locations at Fort Stewart between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday, to include regularly-scheduled off times of spring break and teacher training days.
