    More than 25 improvised explosive devices explode after an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team conducts a controlled detonation in the Sangin District of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, June 15. Having EOD technicians spread throughout Helmand Province supporting infantry companies is critical to successful operations and has saved countless lives.
