Spc. Justin Ferrer of Miami’s 260th Military Intelligence Battalion halts a driver after bringing the vehicle into position at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida on March 20, 2020. The driver will answer questions by Rapid Staff medical personnel, which will decide if he needs a nasal swap to test for COVID-19. If the driver doesn’t speak English, Ferrer is one of the soldiers from the 260th MI Battalion who will translate. Guardsmen arrived at C.B. Smith Park to take part in a multiagency effort to set up a drive thru COVID-19 Community Based Testing Site in Broward County.
