200318-N-YQ383-1244 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 18, 2020) A U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress, assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron and U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagles, assigned to the 18th Wing fly over the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and the guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill (CG 52) during a joint air defense exercise March 18, 2020. Operating as an Expeditionary Strike Force, the Navy-Marine Corps team integrates the combat power of the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group with the flexible capability of the America Expeditionary Strike Group and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to provide the fleet commander with a capable, credible combat force that can be deployed anywhere in the world.
