A red, white, and blue helicopter, appearing to be a Mil Mi-8 or similar Soviet-designed transport helicopter, is landed on a cleared dirt area surrounded by tropical forest. Ground personnel are actively engaged with the aircraft, with one individual near the passenger steps and others visible in the background. The rotor blades are in motion, indicating the engines are running.

U.S. Army Capt. Brendan McManus, a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) investigation team leader conducts a preliminary survey at a site in Dak Lak Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mar. 4, 2020. A team was deployed in the area to investigate locations that could be associated with areas where unaccounted-for U.S. service members went missing during the Vietnam War. The mission of DPAA is to provide the fullest possible accounting of our missing personnel to their families and the nation. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Claire Farin)
