As the sun rises above the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah Soldiers hang on to a set of pull-up bars conducting the flexed arm hang as part of the German Armed Forces Badge of Military Proficiency challenge, March 7. More than 150 Soldiers from several different commands spent three days at Fort Douglas, Utah, competing in a variety of physical challenges to earn the coveted badge. Events including a flexed arm hang, ruck march, 1000 meter sprint, pistol qualification, 100 meter swim and more. A total of 16 bronze, 40 silver and 35 gold badges were earned during the challenge.
