Scott Moss, commanding officer, Navy Operational Support Center Knoxville, speaks to students and teachers about his roles and responsibilities and other potential careers in the Navy during the Tennessee Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (TJSHS) in Knoxville. This year was the 55th annual TJSHS competition that allows high school students from across Tennessee to present their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) projects for regional judging. The students also take various tours of the University of Tennessee and its facilities with winners advancing onto a national competition that will be held in Virginia this year.
