Three CV-22B Osprey assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group provide air support to provide security for a combined joint High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) rapid insertion with Royal Thai Marines and U.S. Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit as part of Cobra Gold 2020, at Chandy Range, Kingdom of Thailand, March 2, 2020. Exercise Cobra Gold 20, in its 39th iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective responses to regional crises by bringing together multinational forces to address shared goals and security commitments in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
