The Dee Stadium held the “Battle of the Bridge” where the Michigan Upper Peninsula Veterans Hockey Club played against the Saginaw Spirit Warriors, another all-veteran team from lower Michigan, Houghton, Mich. on Feb. 22, 2020. Along with giving veterans a chance to experience armed forces camaraderie once again, Battle of the Bridge acts as a money-raising opportunity for the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans. All proceeds for the night went to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans which offers quality care in a homelike environment to former Service members. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
