Navy Diver 2nd Class Chris Vanriper, assigned to Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit 5, Platoon 503, fast ropes in full gear while training aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). George Washington departed Fleet Activities Yokosuka on May 26 to begin its 2012 patrol.
