U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to Andersen Air Force Base and Koku Jieitai (Japan Air Self Defense Force) Airmen layout a fuel bladder to simulate a hot refueling scenario during Exercise Cope North 20 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 24, 2020. The ACE concept is that Airmen are able to learn and conduct jobs from multiple career fields and use those skills to respond to aggressive or hostile engagements. Exercising elements of ACE enables U.S. forces in the Into-Pacific to operate from locations with varying levels of capacity and support, ensuring Airmen and aircrews are postured to respond across the spectrum of military operations.
