U.S. airmen, soldiers and sailors transport a simulated patient from a medical UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter to a waiting C-17 Globemaster III aircraft for medical evacuation from the battlefield to further medical care, June 23, 2012, during Exercise Global Medic 2012. Exercise Global Medic 2012 is an annual joint field training exercise for theater aeromedical evacuation systems and ground medical components designed to replicate all aspects of combat medical service support.
